How to Make a Solid Perfume: Practical, Portable, and Natural

Solid perfumes are an ideal alternative for those seeking convenience, longevity, and naturalness. They don’t contain alcohol, don’t spill, and you can carry them with you in your pocket or purse.

In this article, I explain how to make your own solid perfume at home, step by step.

    What is a solid perfume?

It’s a compact mixture of waxes, oils, and essences that is applied directly to the skin, like a balm. Upon air care market trends with body heat, it melts slightly and releases its aroma.

    Basic Ingredients

Beeswax or vegetable wax (10 g)

Carrier oil (jojoba, almond, coconut, etc.) – 10 g

Essential or fragrance oils – about 10 to 20 drops

Small aluminum or glass container with a lid

    Step by Step

Melt the wax in a double boiler.

Add the carrier oil and mix well.

Remove from heat and wait a few seconds.

Add the essential oils and stir.

Pour into the container and let solidify for a few hours.

    How to use

Apply with your finger to your wrists, neck, or behind your ears.

You can also use it as a scented balm for your hands or décolletage.

    Advantages

    Doesn’t evaporate like alcohol

    Ideal for sensitive skin

    Long-lasting and easy to carry

100% natural if you use pure ingredients
